Club notes wc 6 March

The club thanks all those who helped with the club clean up on Saturday. A second clean up is required and will take place in the coming weeks. The club would like to thank everyone who contributed to our National Club Draw. The draw takes place this Wednesday 8th March at GAA HQ. Best of luck to all those who bought tickets.Club membership will be collected this Friday night @8pm in the clubrooms. It is important that playing members pay their membership as soon as possible, as they will not be eligible to play without insurance. Rates remain the same as last year. Our Cairde Friend of the Month is Sean & Roisin McConnell.

Hard luck to the minor girls who were defeated by a strong Castlederg side in Plumbridge last week. They are away to Drumragh this Sun 12th February with throw in at 4pm. Training continues on Monday evenings at 7pm. The under 14 girls game scheduled for this weekend against Galbally has been postponed due to a county fixture. Training continues on Tuesday evenings at 6pm. Training for senior ladies continues on a Wednesday night at 7.45pm and 9am on Sunday mornings. The club would like to congratulate Maria O’Hagan who will represent Glenelly on the Tyrone under 16 team this year. All ladies player, underage and senior, are reminded that they must wear a mouth guard this season. Could all managers who require an Access NI form and child protection course please contact Nicola Bradley for more information. Registration will be collected in the clubrooms on Friday night at 8pm. The club would like to thank John McBride for his generosity in sponsoring the sound for our recent cultural night. Can anyone who has a key to the clubrooms please inform a committee member so that a list of key holders can be established. The annual St. Patrick’s Day church gate collection in support of the club’s promotion of Irish language and culture will be taken up after masses.
