Club notes wc 6 February

We have one final push for our National Draw tickets this week. Can all club members please try their best to sell all that they can, and if possible more. All proceeds will be going to the club, and it’s all help is deeply appreciated. Final collections will be made this Sunday 12th February @6pm. Many thanks to everyone who attended our cards night in the Clubrooms last weekend and a special word of thanks to Maureen who provided the refreshments on the night. Due to popular demand there will be another “25 Card night” in the Clubrooms this Friday night (10th February) at 9.00PM. Admission is £10 and all winners will be entered into the National Club Draw with a chance to win many fabulous prizes including Cars and Holidays. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of St Joseph’s. Everyone welcome. Our “Huff and Puff” Over-40s Football returns this Thursday night at 8.00PM down at the MUGA Pitch. If anyone has questions regarding Club Development, or is interested in joining the Club Development Committee, please email secretary.glenellystjosephs.tyrone with these points of interest.Congratulations to Sharon Mc Cullagh, who is our Cairde Friend Of The Month for February. If anyone is interested in joining our sub – committees for 2017, please contact Dylan by phone (07851812962) or email (dflanagan817). These include: Grounds, Youth, Hospitality, Fundraising, Development and Cultural. Ask not what the club can do for you, but you can do for your Club! All new members, who have an interest in the club are warmly welcome.The club passes on it’s sympathies to the family of Josephine O’Neill, Foreglen. Irish classes take place on Tuesday nights at 8 pm in the clubrooms for one hour – feedback from those attending so far is extremely positive. All new members welcome! Thank you to everyone who came to the making of St Brigid crosses. Could everyone who has first-aid kits please return them to the clubrooms so that they can be replenished for this year. If anyone within the club is interested in first aid training could they please express their interest to a committee member. All ladies players this year must wear a mouth guard at training and matches. Congratulations to Siobhan Sheerin and Cora Maguire who are representing our club in the county squads. Training for minor girls takes place on Monday and Wednesday nights at 7 pm. All new players welcome. The senior ladies will train on Sunday morning at 9 am.
